In 2012 Mactaggart & Mickel secured interests in land at Hallow, Worcestershire. Hallow is an attractive village less than 3 miles to the northwest of Worcester city centre with an historic core including a village green and listed buildings.
Hallow was identified by Malvern Hills District Council, as part of the wider emerging South Worcestershire Development Plan, as a settlement suitable to accommodate growth in order to meet the required housing needs of the area. Our aim is to provide a range of attractive, good quality homes that would be sensitively designed to respond positively to the intrinsic quality of Hallow and its wider setting.
Part of the proposed site is allocated for development. We secured an outline planning resolution for the site, subject to a Section 106 agreement, comprising 53 units in October 2015. We have since marketed the site, working with the landowner's agent.
