Two stylish showhomes have been unveiled at Mactaggart & Mickel Homes’ newest Ayrshire development, Braemore Wood in Troon.

The family housebuilder has opened the beautifully styled four-bedroom Orkney and five-bedroom Shuna villas for interested housebuyers to visualise their new home.

The impressive four-bedroom Orkney villa is new to the company’s property portfolio. This generous family home uses neutral tones to enhance the natural light that rushes through. The living area is laden in fawn hues with a mink feature wall. The light wall tones are offset by the pewter and ebony modern furnishings.

The living area leads through to the spacious dining kitchen where a mahogany table is set for six with dramatic monochrome place settings with views to the garden. The kitchen and breakfast bar area continue the calming colour scheme with light oak and taupe surfaces with integrated quality appliances. The room leads out to a well-sized utility area and the integrated single garage.

The ecru theme is continued on the upper floor of the home. The master bedroom is decorated in luscious cream and alabaster with chrome accents to create a plush haven of relaxation. The room also boasts an ensuite shower room and separate dressing area.

The second bedroom incorporates gentle lavender flourishes and also boasts an ensuite shower room. In additional to the other bedrooms on the upper floor is an elegant study in rich chestnut hues completes the floor.

The stunning five-bedroom Shuna villa is a home designed with flexibility in mind. Upon entering, the flowing arrangement of the lower floor is evident with clear sight to the kitchen, living area and sitting room. Decorated throughout in warm café au lait tones and sophisticated soft furnishings, the home exudes a sense of understated elegance.

The spacious lounge is bedecked in similar nude tones with the odd splash of colour in the manner of the tangerine and chocolate pillow cushions and glossy piano black and bronze furniture. The trio mirror panel and the main wall also creates to the illusion of an even greater living space. The area features a pale ash dining table set for six with views to the generous manicured gardens.

The living area flows through to the bright spacious kitchen, decorated in brilliant white with plenty of large windows allowing for daylight to flood the space. The room boasts all integrated top of the line appliances and leads round to the sunroom which features an inviting corner sofa with views to the garden.

Another attractive feature of this showhome is the additional cosy family room located on the left side of the home. The room incorporates more autumnal tones of bister and burgundy helping to create a more relaxed and informal atmosphere. The lower floor also includes a well-sized utility space and storage cupboards.

On ascending the central staircase the feature mirror adds to the grandeur of the home. The master bedroom is set out in biscuit tones with little touches of lilac and slate furnishings to add a touch of colour. The room also features an ensuite bathroom with his and hers sinks and a separate walk in wardrobe with plenty of storage for many a designer outfit.

The additional bedrooms on the upper floor are decorated in a similar palette with the second bedroom also boasting an ensuite bathroom. One of the rooms on the upper floor has been designed as an elegant office space styled in charcoal and mahogany tones but this space could double as an additional bedroom.
