Award-winning family housebuilder, Mactaggart & Mickel Homes is to bring its range of quality homes to Renfrewshire with its first ever development in Howwood.

Work on the site, on the eastern edge of the village off Midton Road, is scheduled to begin in June. Once complete it will consist of a mix of 47 three to five bedroom semi-detached and detached homes, which are scheduled to be launched in early autumn 2016.

Existing styles including the three-bedroom semi-detached Hughes and five-bedroom detached Adam are part of Mactaggart & Mickel Homes’ urban contemporary range and have already sold successfully at Greenan Views in Ayr.

The unique feature on the exterior of The Hughes is a statement full height window which runs adjacent to the staircase, allowing light to flood through the house. There is also a modern dining room layout with open plan entrance creating a great space for dinner parties.

The Adam is an ideal family home. The spacious living room has a large front facing window and corner window which flood the room with light from two sides. Sliding doors connecting the lounge dining room and kitchen, helps to create a flexible living space throughout the lower level of the property.

Two new house styles will also be unveiled at the site, the three-bedroom Bryce and the four-bedroom detached Burnet with integral garage. The Bryce is a great starter home with a spacious living area open plan dining kitchen. The Burnet boasts an entirely new layout for Mactaggart & Mickel Homes on the ground floor. The lounge, dining area and kitchen are all one large open plan space for a more flowing feel. The property also features an internal garage.
