Investments

Set up in 2015, our investment division has grown significantly. The portfolio currently has an asset value of £8.2m and is invested across 74 companies. We have invested in a diverse range of projects, companies and sectors including energy, construction, healthcare, technology, service and leisure.

One of our investments has been in IoT technology to provide real-time information to maintain the quality of thousands of homes across the UK. Sensors provided by Glasgow-based iOpt (Internet of Property Things) monitor aspects like ventilation and risk of damp, flagging potential issues with landlords at an early stage. The initiative is believed to be the first of its kind in Europe.
