A larger 10,000 sq. ft. retail development in a highly prominent roadside location on the edge of Dalkeith in Midlothian, our development at Thornybank Green in Dalkeith was fully let to Sainsburys in October 2014 and sold in December 2014. Sainsbury’s intend to lease all of the consented 10,000sqft, occupying 6,000sqft while sub-letting the remaining space.
Following our models at East Craigs and Greenan, the retail facilities and associated parking form part of a wider mixed use development also comprising 100 private homes and 25 affordable and mid-market rental properties for housing association Castle Rock Edinvar.
