Our people are at the heart of our success and we are proud to have achieved Investors in People Platinum accreditation. We have a programme of training and development initiatives as well as Employee Forums, occupational health screenings and many other employee benefits schemes. We have also instilled our Health & Safety policy into the whole culture of the business and use a “near-miss” reporting system to encourage our employees to monitor the safety aspects of almost everything they do. We engage with Communities before beginning almost all our developments, speaking to local residents and organisations to hear their thoughts and concerns. In 2018 we also contributed almost £1.3m across all our developments to Local Authorities towards education, play provision, cycle paths and recreation.

We continually seek to minimise the impact of our business operations on the Environment, while still maintaining the high quality and standards that our customers expect. We have improved the energy-efficiency of our homes via improved usage of sustainable materials including timber frame construction, low energy light bulbs as standard, hybrid heating systems, and implementing simple but effective recycling policies at our Head office and on all sites.
