Mac Mic Group team members selected Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas 2023 as the company's chosen festive charity.
Poverty casts a long shadow, dimming Christmas cheer for thousands of children across the UK. No presents, just another day because, for many families, Christmas is simply a luxury they can't afford
Between donations from our generous team, Mac Mic Foundation and the Mickel Fund, we raised £3,000 for Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas.

Mac Mic Group's commitment to the community extends beyond the construction of the new Hub recently handed over to Midlothian Council.
Recognising the vital role of Newton Parish Church's pop-up café in Millerhill, the Mac Mic Foundation donated £500 to support the establishment of a permanent café within the Hub. The new Community Hub will provide the residents of today and tomorrow with a fantastic space to come together.
Erika Pryde, Newton Parish Church said:
"Newton Church Fresh Expressions team would like to thank Mac Mic for the generous donation of £500. This will be used to kick start a community café in the new Hub, taking us indoors after many months of pop-up café in the Carbon Square.
"We look forward to making many cups of tea, coffee and hot chocolate alongside community volunteers bringing a much-needed meeting place to life for the people of Millerhill."New Community Hub for Millerhill
Glasgow Street Aid, a Scottish charity providing medical and welfare assistance on the streets of Glasgow’s city centre, has been given a significant financial boost in the form of a £4,000 donation from Mac Mic Foundation.
Established in 2020, Glasgow Street Aid operates as a pre-hospital medical and welfare charity, alleviating the burden on both the ambulance service and A&E departments by providing on-site care within Glasgow’s city centre.
Becky Blair, Area Service Manager for Glasgow Street Aid, expressed her gratitude, said:
"We cannot thank Mac Mic Group enough for the incredible donation from its Mac Mic Foundation! To be contacted by them out of the blue was the nicest surprise and to be supported by a big company like them is such a privilege.
“We are just a small Glasgow-based charity of volunteers who are doing what we can to provide medical and welfare assistance to those in need in Glasgow city centre each weekend, so every single donation helps us keep doing this. Thank you so much for this amazing and much needed donation.”Glasgow Street Aid

Mac Mic Group employee Jenny Harvie-Miller knows first-hand the vital role Glasgow Children's Hospital plays in young lives.
Her two sons, born at the neighbouring maternity hospital, received crucial outpatient care in their early months. So, when the opportunity arose to join a sponsored walk for the charity, Jenny and her husband Colin didn't hesitate.
Mac Mic Foundation and Mickel Fund joined hands with Jenny's campaign, and together they not only smashed their £500 target but raised a staggering £1,355!Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity
