We’re delighted to announce that Michael Gooch has been promoted to Regional Head of Planning – South West.

Since joining Mac Mic Group in June 2021 as Strategic Land Manager – South West, Michael has consistently brought a steady, thoughtful approach to his work. He has played a key role in progressing several complex sites, including Chard and Mitton, securing new opportunities, and achieving recent planning successes with draft allocations in Backwell and Locking/Elborough in North Somerset.

Michael’s deep understanding of the planning system, his ability to navigate the challenges of strategic land promotion, and his analytical approach to evolving policy and regulation have made him a valuable asset to the team. His measured style and commitment to quality will continue to support our growth across the region.
