Mactaggart & Mickel Reflects, Celebrates and Looks Ahead at Annual Business Briefing
Last week, colleagues from across Mactaggart & Mickel came together for our Annual Business Briefing – a chance to pause, reflect on the past year, and look ahead with confidence to what’s next.
The day began with a warm welcome from Executive Chairman David Shaw, setting the tone for an open and engaging session. Teams from across the business shared updates and insights, bringing to life the progress made over the past year and the collective effort behind it. Managing Director Brian Dick also outlined a clear and ambitious vision for the year ahead, giving everyone a shared sense of direction and purpose.
Following our centenary year, there was a real sense of pride in the room. Reaching 100 years of shaping communities is a milestone that belongs to everyone who has been part of the Mactaggart & Mickel story, and it was a special moment to reflect on that legacy while looking forward to the opportunities ahead.
A particular highlight of the day was taking time to recognise two colleagues whose dedication has made a lasting impact. At a celebratory lunch held at The Ivy, Long Service Awards were presented to:
- Michelle Blake – 15 Years of Service
- Ross Mickel – 20 Years of Service
Their commitment, loyalty and contribution to the business were warmly celebrated, and it was a proud moment to acknowledge the people who help make Mactaggart & Mickel what it is.
Events like this are a reminder that our success is built on our people – their hard work, passion and shared values.
A big thank you goes to Claire McCue and her team for organising such a fantastic day. It was a great opportunity to come together, reconnect, and leave feeling inspired for the year ahead.
